Professional Standards

The Office of Professional Standards oversees the functions of Accreditation, Crime Prevention, Internal Affairs, and Training. This division is vital to the basic operations of the Police Department.
  1. Accreditation

    Learn about the accreditation of the Parker Police Department.

  2. Community Outreach/Crime Prevention

    Crime prevention is best achieved through partnerships with the community and the Police Department. Citizens taking ownership of their neighborhoods combined with direct action from the police can improve the quality of life for the citizens of Parker.

  3. Internal Affairs

    The Internal Affairs Section ensures that each complaint, handled at either the division level or through an Internal Affairs investigation, receives the same treatment and quality of investigation.

  4. Public Information

    The Town desires to work in partnership with the media; and establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with reporters and news organizations by providing consistent, timely and accurate information and by promptly responding to information requests.
