Free Starbucks Coffee and pastry at the March 20 Coffee with a Cop at the Parker and Lincoln Starbucks from 8:00-10:00 a.m. All you need to do to claim the free pastry is bring in food items to donate to our Cram the Cruiser event supporting the Parker Task Force’s Backpack Program. Free Starbucks coffee, pastry and Parker Police Department travel mug for a few donated food items might be the best deal in the history of the internet.
In addition, COPPS (Citizens Offering Parker Police Support) will be selling a limited number of Parker Police K-9 stuffed dogs for $25.The K-9's were donated by Operation: Teddy Bear which will allow COPPS to use 100% of money donated to help pay Rico's medical bill from last night's emergency surgery. The surgery was successful and he will be in recovery for a few weeks.
Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for Parker residents to meet the men and women of the Parker Police Department who serve them on a daily basis. In addition to meeting our Officers, this is a great opportunity to talk to them about the issues that are important to you, your family and friends.
The Douglas County Task Force’s Packpack Program fills backpacks with food for qualifying Parker kids each Friday during the school year. These backpacks are filled with enough food to get kids through the weekends when they don't have access to nutritious meals from school.
You can help by donating individual-sized food items like the ones listed below that can be included in the more than 120 backpacks each week. Please be sure to check all expiration dates before donating items. We want to insure all the food provided is safe to be shared with Parker area kids.
